Gist

Every account you have, on one page you own.

Connect the accounts you already use — Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and the rest. Post once and it goes to all of them. Pull the work you made over there onto @you.afrilingua.ai, alongside your events, your shop and your posts from here. Anyone can open that page without an account, an app or a sign-in.

Open Gist

Free. Your public handle and profile come with you.

A profile page on a phone: a banner of two heads facing each other,
the name Taiwo Raji, the handle @tr1029tr, Follow and Message
buttons, then recent posts. Live page /@tr1029tr
Why it keeps moving

A social home, not another posting utility.

Your accounts, connected
Link Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and six more. They're listed on your page, a post here goes out to them, and your TikTok, Instagram and YouTube posts can be pulled onto the page itself. Replies over there still stay over there.
Home
Posts from the people you follow, whether they started on Gist or elsewhere in the ATmosphere. The feed is the front room, not a dashboard.
Discover
Move beyond your follow list into new people, topics and conversations without leaving the social surface.
Circles
Public and private communities sit one tab away, so the group around a subject can keep its own memory instead of disappearing into the main feed.
Messages
One-to-one and group conversations, voice notes, audio calls and video calls live on the same identity as the feed.
Activity
Replies, reactions, follows and the conversations that came back to you have a place of their own.
Your language
Translate a post or message where it sits, keep the original one tap away, and speak to the app in the languages its voice models support.
Your profile
Your posts, identity, connected accounts and the rest of what you do in Afrilingua collect under one public handle.
Outside the app

Your profile is a real public page, not a login wall.

Give someone one link. They can see who you are, what you care about, what you are listening to, the accounts you connected and what you published — without creating an account or installing anything. The profile in the hero is live right now.

One composer

Twenty-four kinds of post, and they're all the same object.

Underneath, a livestream and a poll and a shop listing are one record type with a label on it. That's why they share a profile, a feed and a set of followers instead of needing an app each.

Reach, not the reason to stay

Take the post to the audience you already built.

Connect the accounts you already have and a post here can go to them at the same time. Cross-posting extends the conversation; it is not the whole Gist product, and nobody is asking you to abandon the audience you spent years building.

It goes one way — out. Replies over there stay over there, for now.

Whose it is

It isn't mine to keep.

Your posts and follows are signed records on a personal data server, under the AT Protocol — the open protocol Bluesky runs on. People there can follow you and you can follow them. If you ever want to leave, the handle and the history are portable by design.

That isn't a promise I could quietly reverse later. It's the shape of the thing underneath.

Language

Where the languages actually work.

Afrilingua means African language, so it's worth being exact about which ones do what, rather than printing a flag wall.

Reads and writes
Posts and messages translate both ways across a wide set — including Swahili, Zulu, Twi, Pidgin, French, Portuguese and Arabic alongside the ones below.
Listens and speaks
Speech is a narrower list, because it needs models that exist: English, Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba and Amharic. If a language isn't here, it can still be read and written — it just can't hear you yet.
Not built yet

So you know before you start.

Replies coming back
Cross-posting is outbound only. Somebody who replies to you on Instagram has replied on Instagram, and you'll find it there.
Mastodon, properly
Posts reach Mastodon through an account you connect, which is not the same as federating with it. Gist doesn't speak ActivityPub, so the fediverse can't follow you back.
Yoruba tone in speech
The speech models drop tone marks and subdots, so anything that turns on tone comes back wrong. Text is fine; dictation isn't, yet.
Moving your server
The protocol makes your records portable and the export is a protocol call away. There's no one-button move to another host, so today it's a manual job.

If one of these is the thing standing in your way, tell me — it's how I decide what's next.

Or look at a real page first — that's what the public side is for.
