Finding your way around
One pill tells you where you are, and tapping it searches everything. That is most of the navigation.
The pill at the top
It names the screen you are on. When a screen has no name of its own it shows the mode instead — Gist, Events, Market, Circles or Arcade.
Tapping it opens search, ready to type. That is the shortcut worth learning first: you can reach anything from anywhere, instead of walking back to the home feed and starting again.
Getting unstuck
- Help
- What you are reading. It opens on "what are you here to do?" with paths that know which steps you have already done.
- Explain this screen
- In Help. Turns on a mode where tapping anything tells you what it does without doing it — useful on a screen full of controls you would rather not press to find out.
- Ask Aura
- Type the question. The assistant can answer from these same written guides, so it is not guessing about fees or payouts.
Where the important things live
- Settings
- Account, notifications, privacy, and everything configurable.
- Your page
- What a stranger sees. Worth looking at before you share your link.
- Orders
- Both sides of every deal — what you bought and what people bought from you.
- Setup (in Market)
- Payout setup, and the one place that says whether money can reach you.
Light and dark
The app follows your device by default and can be switched by hand. Nothing else changes with it — it is only the colours.
Language
The app's menus and buttons are in English. Aura is not limited to them: in Settings › Language you choose the language it answers you in — Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Pidgin, Swahili, Amharic, French and many more. The language it listens for when you speak is set from the settings button on the chat screen.
